The Very Izzi mission is to share relatable stories that inspire storytelling. I LOVE exchanging experiences and perspectives, especially if they’re funny.

I laugh a lot! When I text, my autocorrect automates a “Haha” after every sentence period because I’m ALWAYS Haha’ing.

As a mom with a masters in library science, I know there are so many books! I also know there a lot boring books. I like stories that are creative, have humor, timeless, challenge the status quo, nostalgic, original, and make me hopeful for the future world of my kids. My passion is to find books that make you smile and *spark* your own stories. 

Reading and storytelling go hand in hand to help us to better understand each other. Reading improves storytelling. Storytelling encourages reading. It’s exciting when someone says, “Oh, that reminds me of…”

You’ll notice a lot of book reviews about Koreans and Korean culture. It’s my way of sharing my story.
